When patterns are disrupted, that's the only time we are aware of our existence.
My English composition class (which is basically philosophy) discussed this the other day. We go through our routines every day, but it is only when routine is broken and we have to stop a moment to feel that little bit of anxiety, or excitement, shock, or the feeling of your heart sinking into your stomach that we are truly aware of our existence. We don’t think about being alive all the time, we simply exist without thinking about it.
But when the routine is broken, you feel something out of the ordinary.
You don’t think about your heart beating until something makes the rhythm change.
I want to find someone that will make me feel alive.
Lindsay Lohan, 24, is all over the news because she's a celebrity drug addict. While Justin Allen, 23, Brett Linley, 29, Matthew Weikert, 29, Justus Bartett, 27, Dave Santos, 21, Chase Stanley, 21, Jesse Reed, 26, Matthew Johnson, 21, Zachary Fisher, 24, Brandon King, 23, Christopher Goeke, 23, and Sheldon Tate, 27 are all Marines that gave their lives this week, no media mention. Honor THEM by reblogging.
I can’t wait until Lindsay just dies so the news will just spend another couple weeks on talking about that, then go back to giving us real news.
